So what has the growth rate been like? I'm curious as for sure as you figured I really want one lol. I have not kept any species from this genus yet, but currently keeping a closely related sperata. Sperata doesn't seem to aggressive yet, but it's small and not many tankmates that it hasn't ate lol.
 
He grew fast and quick like tsn or tsn rtc bit slowed down at 8" and has taken off again now at the 16-18" zone. He is very smart and lives pellets and eats a lot on the top.
I wil get you some more pics of his tail. The top ray is white and is nice and long. He is aggressive bit will gently eat out of my hand.

wow! what a nice looking cat do you feed alot of shrimp with shell on or crawfish currently have an albino at about 9-10" these guys deffinately have unique personalities!
