is he still stressed in these shots? He looks more gray than before. Wyckioides (ARTC) are more gray than wyckii. The tail has a tinge of brown too. Well, too early anyway IMO.

Yes still stressed! I screwed up actually I fed him pellets before I moved him. And when I put him in a bag to move he puked up the pellets so I moved him to a bucket and set up a drip. So unfortionatly he was stressed pretty bad:(!

yeah, i've made such errors before too and learned not to feed the fish before any stress, even a vacuum or a big, like 70%-90% water change...
 
Quick update... Good pics are hard to get cus he will not stop moving. Eats floating pellets, sinking pellets and well anything he sees as food! No aggression thus far! Plenty of fish he could eat but he doesn't:) he hides in his caves and when he hears the cupboard door open he comes out hunting!

Nice cat I like the ARTC I have a RTC he is about 5" long and is very active at night i know they are more active at night but my RTC never comes out during the day is this normal?

catfish are nacturnal its complety normal. As he gets bigger he will be out more. I have a rtc alsoanx when he was 3 inches I never saw him. Now he never goes away! He's about 6 inches
