I thought that you had to fishless cycle the tank still while using Stability? I was going to wait a week or two? What should I do?

Throw some smaller fish that you could care less that could die in there and continue with what you are doing. Zero on ammonia, nitrites and nitrates is worthless. Seems as if your not adding enough ammonia so just put a small fish in.

I just did water test BTW.

PH - 7.8
Ammonia - 0
Nitrite - 0
Nitrate - 0

This tank is going to house a smallmouth bass.

Temperature is about 72.

Haha. Thanks! I have been planning this thing and getting everything ready for months!
Be sure to de-chlorinate the water, add the stability and the bass and enjoy...after 8 days do a 33% water change...

I put 4 minnows and 3 crayfish in. I figured that they will be able to add some ammonia and get the tank going. I caught them in the wild. I am going to continue using the Stability for the 7 days and see what happens.

Everything is good so far. Yesterday's readings were still 0 for ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate. Hopefully the Stability starts producing. Saturday will be the 7th day.

How big is the SMB that will inhabit the 210g and is that the only stock?

It will be a 12" male (hopefully). That is the minimum legal size bass I can catch and keep in PA.

I am probably going to put a black crappie in with him around 9" to start.

MAYBE a brown bullhead. I am not sure that I will go that far.

When is your next fishing trip?, you better get to gettin'...lol
It's better to have the fish in the tank already so you have some decent bio-load for the spores of Bacteria in the STABILITY to trigger and colonize...
