Hi LFM!

Just a suggestion here. If you use filter media/water from your other tanks you're hoping to transfer some of the beneficial bacteria (BB) to your new tank, right? The problem is, if you add your fish only a while later the BB will die because it doesn't have any fish waste to live from. I would suggest adding a hardy fish (or three!) from one of your other tanks when you fill the tank. That way the BB can stay alive and MULTIPLY :D

i filled her up yesterday and today the water is so tanin colored i cant see the back wall of the tank. the driftwood is floating and is starting to grow a white fungus on it

you might have to attack peices of slate to weigh it down
 
i think im gunna to take it out and soak it for a few weeks in an empty trash can
