Just ordered 300 gallon setup suggestions welcomed

So wife wants new hardwood floor and my 120 gallon has a small crack on a seam. Holds water now just fine just don't wanna risk moving again. So I just ordered a new tank. 8 feet long 30 inches wide and 24 inches deep Starfire from Pannell regular glass all other panes. 3-4 weeks away. Now the stress part. Install 1000 square feet hardwood build stand and plan tank.

Doing a wooden 2x6 frame. Planning on poolsand substrate. Paint back Pannell black possibly plasti dip (has anyone tried this how well does it work)
I have a bunch of African cichlids in tank now but eventually rays will be in future. Always been my favorite but didn't want to do it in to small of a tank. Not fair to fish. Filter will be 2 fx5 canisters. Lights 2 3 foot LEDs from my 120.

Any suggestions or input gratley appreciated.

where i come from... we use oyama sticker for background.... easier to replace if you want a change in colour or decided to go with clear glass in future

I use a 7*2 sheet of 5mm black gloss acrylic on the inside, it works fantastic.

I use Plastidip. Looks good, easy to peel off in the future if you change your mind.
