Just picked up my monster tank

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I'll be able to post pics tonight. The dimensions are 72x18x26. I cant access photobucket through my works server. Obviously this is no where near a monster fish tank to some on here but it's a big jump up from my 72 gal bowfront and 90 gal.

Love all the ideas, thanks for the inputs and please keep them coming. I've got a common wolf in my 90 gallon but he's already 7 inches and i'm not sure how he would do with tankmates so I may just leave him in there. I've been contemplating:

Asain Arrow: Dont know how much or where to find. cuz their illegal LOL

Stingrays: seem to be very $$$ based on what I've read/seen most get too big, I think.
Eels: which types are compatible with other fish
Oscars: seem like a pretty dumb fish but colorful and large
GATF: Again, very $$$ and not sure on compatiblilty with other fish goliath for a reason
Snakehead: I can wish cant I..haha illegal, but I guess you realize that.
Aligator Gar: Dont know too much about this one. monstrous
Common Pleco: Heard they cant be kept with rays so get 1 more to have 2.

Gonna be getting an fx5 for christmas and 2 heaters. Not sure there either. I've heard great things about Jager so maybe 2 200W heaters? Again, thanks for all the help.

The tank isn't that monstrous. Most of the stuff you listed gets too big.

and Oscars aren't unintelligent, if thats what you meant.

I would put a ton of clown loaches in it, plus a few CA/SA cichlids.

There's "monster" in every tank, don't worry about size, just stock it acordingly....:headbang2
Yea, I know I was just excited about the new tank and I thought the comment was sorta rude. Like I said, obviously it's no where near as big or nice as some of the tanks on here but it's a monster compared to my last tanks. Anyways without further adieu, my "LITTLE" monster:
