Maybe this news article will be more credible.
"The op-ed goes on to note that Al owns three (very) spacious homes, including a primary residence over 10,000 sq ft with 20 rooms and 8 bathrooms; That there is no record of Al using the wind energy option for his homes, although it is available through regional power companies; That he continues to own stock in Occidental Petroleum which according to the article has been mired in controversy over oil drilling in ecologically sensitive areas.; And lastly that his property sits on a Zinc mine, which has been cited for dumping minerals into local waterways."
"The issue here is not simply Gore's hypocrisy; it's a question of credibility. If he genuinely believes the apocalyptic vision he has put forth and calls for radical changes in the way other people live, why hasn't he made any radical change in his life? Giving up the zinc mine or one of his homes is not asking much, given that he wants the rest of us to radically change our lives."
