i dont wanna know what kind of dipping you where thinking....

but dip is like a huge glob of nicotine right on the inside of your lip, and if you dont mind filling a soda bottle or two with thick brown spit all day... dipping could be for you :)

skoal long cut wintergreen is pretty good. but ive only tried it once.

Years ago I went for acupuncture...

I quit smoking for 5 years before starting again - and that was 100% my own stupidity.

Give that a go...

Hypnosis!

By the time you finish spelling Hypnosis backwards.....you will fall into a very deep sleep!

Repeat these words: Just do it!

There, you've stopped.:)

zyban. my course was 7 weeks if i remember right. the first 2 weeks you smoke with the tablet but after that you dont for a few weeks. by the middle of week 2 your down to one a day anyway and thats just habit rather than nicotine need.

i tried nrt but it didnt work for me so my doc advised zyban. great drug and its the best thing i ever did to stop smoking. no weight gain with this either as you dont substitute smoking with food like most do on nrt. its almost like you forget that you smoke by week 3, no cravings or habits.

yeah get a big wad of chew and put it on your tongue... then just swallow and smoking will be the least of your conserns!!!

I've used Chantix, the first time it worked. smoke free for several months. I started smoking again after I was flooded out of my home last year. Tried Chantix again and the second time around it didn't work.
Quitting is a bit#h, but I'm at it this time with the knowledge that I'm going in for rotator cuff surgery here in the next few weeks and the surgeon wants me to quit because it will speed up the recovery time.
As of this moment I have had only 1 ciggarette this morning and I've been up for 6 hours.

dipping is disgusting-for anyone. congrats on quitting, if i were you id buy the nicotine patch-at least for the first week until your body withdraws from the nicotine. there is also gum, and lozenges that have nicotine in them.. but the patch is the best. they go up to 20 mg here in the US-whatever you do DONT smoke with the patch on-it can kill you.. a fatal dose of nicotine is 80 mg.

just keep your hands busy lol.. chew lots of gum or hard candy. and try to keep your mind occupied lol.. i wish ya luck, i know its hard, but i have faith in you!

i quit a few times by strength of will, last time i used chantix. it didnt really make the cigs taste bad, but the pills made me feel ill. i quit finally because i had a baby coming, wasnt too bad for me, but my wife was so addicted. we both quit for the baby, and it was worth it.
if you are having money problems, there are free tabacco quit numbers you can contact. they give free patches and stuff.
i sometimes dream of smoking, i miss it in some odd way, though i know it is no good for me.
good luck
