Kamfa.. Should I get it?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Looks like this guy is deadset on selling it for 120.. and he doesn't want to send me a video of the fish.. 20 bucks, I can do. No video = hell no lol.

I have a FH, and I haven't had any issues with him.. I had no idea they were "weaker".

The buddy who keeps fish has oodles of HUGE flowerhorns that he's had for years with no issues.

But all of his are direct from thailand... maybe that makes a difference? Mine is also from thailand.

If its something local you could just check it out, don't have to commit to buying.

I live in a big city.. lol.. Its about an hour and a half to get to him.. and I don't wanna waste gas for something I might not buy lol

Makes no difference at all lol. The fish that I'm thinking about buying was also imported from Thailand. The nicer the flowerhorn looks, the weaker they are genetically .

Has this been proven any way?

Oh yeah LOL. Just ask anyone thats into Flowerhorns whole heatedly.. Like Chrisplosion lol
and do you know people in Asian keep their King kamfa for more than 5 years and still very strong?

I have heard many stories of them dropping dead for no reason. Also heard many stories of Masterpieces dropping dead shortly after breeding. Breeding only for looks only lets in bad genetics. So yes this has been proven. The higher the quality, the higher the chances of it dying sooner.

Feeding hormone rich foods doesn't help either.......
