I only let people around that I trust with my tanks,that's my wife,daughter and mother in law if I'm not home or at work they dont let anyone touch my tanks or knock on the glass everyone in my home love my fahakas so they treat them better then the guest lol

Ya I had one of my 10 year old brothers friends come over. He was I think 13. And I walk in my room and I see him chasing my fish with his hand! I grabbed him picked him up carried him outside lol and threw his butt on my lawn and gave him a good punch if two lmfao. I was so pissed! Little punk is terriefied of me now rofl. I'm not huge though I'm 5'7" and pretty muscley so I'm not a gladiator lol. If someone were to drop anything in my tanks I would no joke knock the crap out of them! Feel so bad for you man. But make the moron pay for it! I went out and bought a key entry door knob for my room just incase lol I lock it when my friends are over.

All my tanks are in the basement, and one time I had friends over to watch a hockey game down on the bigscreen in the basement and I go up to get more snacks to find when I come back down, that my friends were trying to throw marbles into the open top of my 40 breeder, but it was too late my dumbass friends had made a small crack in the front panel, and throughly scared my archer fish to the point of doing spasmy citcles and throwing up a tonne of water. The tank shattered that night...... Im pissed just thinking about it

I'm new to this hobby and this thread is giving me quite a scare coz I need to go away for a month from where I live. The worst I had so far is nothing exceptional. It is when a coworker came and gave a strong tap on my aquarium's front panel. Everyone in the room gave him a good scolding. He has some of my previous fish now and does not do it anymore. If anyone kills my fish by that kind of idiocy mentioned in other posts, I'd go ballistic and probably have them pay for the fish. Good ol' beating will simply not give anyone a lifelong lesson.

In high school I had a tank in my dorm room with a couple of piranha's in it and some a-hole put almost a whole bottle of absorbine jr. in the tank.

I was 14 and Back in Sri Lanka at that time.. There was a ghetto near us and boys around there have habit of stealing stuff. And they started to notice our fish tanks.. One night we found someone trying to steal our arowanas.. We kicked them out that night.

Next day me and my dad put a hard plastic sheet top of the tank, fill it with with salt water and pass 400v electricity from a step up transformer..

I won't go in to details, but what happened was on next day newspapers..
