Kels

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
lost one yesterday. thought he was going to die 3 days ago but held on til yesterday. reason for death was not eating and looked to have a neurological problem as he never used his left side gill plate and pectroral fin. this is why i bought the other 2. rest are eating their fill of rosyes gut loaded with aquadine. gnna run them on feeders for the next few weeks the start introducing other foods. just want them nice and healthy.

quick question for the people that have raised bass. if you ran both a bare setup and a decorated setup with substrate have you noticed a difference in the bass shyness or not. my bass right now are in a 90 with an ac110 fx5 and 2 big sponges and they hide behind the fx5 hoses. thought and opinoins welcome

I have barebottom with pieces of driftwood in my tank, and they hide behind it. I think they feel more secure lower in the tank

How many days do you guys wait before doing a wc on a new set up? Been up for 2 weeks and I really want to do a wc

Is the tank fully cycled? What are your Water parameters? I do 75% weekly sometimes 2 times depending on nitrate levels

Just got some Kels today. One guy is eating brine shrimp (barely) doesn't eat pellets. The other guy is not eating anything. I fed them brine, raw shrimp, pellets (sinking and chiclid gold), & blood worms. I don't want to give live food. Everyone else is feeding like there's no tomorrow but these two aren't adapting as fast as my orinos. I'm thinking it might be too tight of a space (20 gal tall)/over crowded. What do you guys think?
