Kels

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Just got some Kels today. One guy is eating brine shrimp (barely) doesn't eat pellets. The other guy is not eating anything. I fed them brine, raw shrimp, pellets (sinking and chiclid gold), & blood worms. I don't want to give live food. Everyone else is feeding like there's no tomorrow but these two aren't adapting as fast as my orinos. I'm thinking it might be too tight of a space (20 gal tall)/over crowded. What do you guys think?

Luckily I already had some Peas that were feeding on what I gave them so they just followed the next day. I need to stop changing their diet. I can tell they don't like it. All but 2 O's & Tems didn't like it. Them Tems getting picky. Kind of confused me because they were the ones that trained my O's to eat raw shrimp. But thnx for the input.

the bass are growing fast but are still shy to people in the room. been feeding one or 2 feeders at a time so that they make the connection of me to food. they free swim and are out and about when im not in the room. i know this because i can sneak into the corner and see them just hanging out. have a few driftwood pieces that i might try to throw in there until i get them onto pelletes. waiting to do this til they are bigger as i have lost a couple in the past to not eating whn young. pics to come tonight

Are your bass timid when the light comes on? For mine, when the light comes on and the lid is up, they know it's feeding time. Hahahaha... they get super excited. So anyways, fed them today and all took shrimp. Didn't mix any of it. Hopefully they keep that up.

Mine aren't as big as yours but they definitely caught up to these O's of mine.
