I wouldn't eat it unless you feed it raw foods for a few weeks. Did you ever read the ingredients on the fish food labels...
i had a pair living together in total harmony first with a red tail shark for 6 years until he died of old age and then with an african cichlid for a few years until the tank exploded....i still have the cichlid and he lives with red devil.. here is pic... are you sincerly feeding these foods i mentioned to your pacu...? And are they getting enough to eat.. i would try this and see if it makes a difference... before i did the unthinkable..chefjamesscott;3316614; said:oh rhonda an ron do get fed very well
the behaviour that rhonda has been showing is more territorial than anything chasing a certain fish around then bam she does the hit.
since my one is male and the other is female I am reallly wondering about whether its a mating behaviour, except she is big enough to really lay whoopings on other fish.

And you can't NOT tell potential owners. I wouldn't wack it with a hammer, I'd use clove oil. Even if it is a murdering SOB, he still deserves to die painlessly since he's a fish and doesn't know any better. Now murdering humans?? Wack em' with a hammer.
