I wouldn't eat it unless you feed it raw foods for a few weeks. Did you ever read the ingredients on the fish food labels...

oh rhonda an ron do get fed very well

the behaviour that rhonda has been showing is more territorial than anything chasing a certain fish around then bam she does the hit.

since my one is male and the other is female I am reallly wondering about whether its a mating behaviour, except she is big enough to really lay whoopings on other fish.
i had a pair living together in total harmony first with a red tail shark for 6 years until he died of old age and then with an african cichlid for a few years until the tank exploded....i still have the cichlid and he lives with red devil.. here is pic... are you sincerly feeding these foods i mentioned to your pacu...? And are they getting enough to eat.. i would try this and see if it makes a difference... before i did the unthinkable..

I think you've gone above and beyond already. It's almost impossible to rehome a Pacu in the 1st place. Especially one that's going to kill their other fish. And you can't NOT tell potential owners. I wouldn't wack it with a hammer, I'd use clove oil. Even if it is a murdering SOB, he still deserves to die painlessly since he's a fish and doesn't know any better. Now murdering humans?? Wack em' with a hammer.

i have been feeding ocean nutrition formula one and two pellets, as well as their spirulina tabs, and tomatos and strawberries. I picked this brand because spirulina is high on the list of ingredients.

I have not gotten out the noose just yet :naughty:, but really wanted to pop out this thread for consideration of opinions and to put out there the plans and options for opinions of others as well. Though I did consider how very evil this may make me look as a fish keeper that I am actually considering offing my the fish that my daughter chose as her monster fish.

When I get a bit more time I will lay down the variety of paths I am considering before I do the ulitmate bad fish keeper move.

give it to a resturaunt, prolly chinese.

BTW I just posted in a thread that was 2 years old... oops... but he euthanized his fish with a 12 gauge.
