about 20 left they had a mass eating but have these left... who knows what will happen now? neat to watch regardless and I still have 12 of the original batch doing very well
Such a epic pair to have!! You'll defo have to start sharing some of the fry once they get to a good size! I'm intrigued to see what bodies the batch have ect
Plus that Kirin has got some good growing to do so they should be a pretty good pair for you for years to come! Make sure you enjoy them
I would take the fry out if you don't want less numbers and the parents might eat them to make room for another batch! Grow them out hopefully not all are ballon shaped!
was out of town again, lost most of second batch but kept six and put them with the first batch ... i have one "half black" fry too which I've only seen very rarely, moving them all tomorrow and will post pi / video also the Father kirring has started to fade to a bright yellow... keeps getting interesting. He is now paired up with a SB thai silk female and the Blood Parrot is with a nice SB thai silk male.... Thai silk parrots??? hopefully!
A picture of the father recovering from being beaten up by my female thai silk ... he is also mid fading so quiet ugly, he is actually turning very bright yellow and maintaining (so far) his blue pearls too very interesting
I can't get videos to upload here ugh but I managed to get a pic of some of the fry there are 16 left from two batches, and you can see here the one fry has the last third of his body remaining all black -- I've seen this before in flow horns online no explanation for it just a genetic thing that crops up (as far as I know) its pretty neat though!! hope he makes it.
