I know few people that brings in wild caught L-46, it's nothing new.

If that is true they are not being imported legally.

I didn't see anyone bashing him. There would be documentation though to support proof of importation is all I wanted to know. Without such documentation you can't really call them wild caught. Also if someone threw a mated pair in a pond they also wouldn't be wild caught they would be F1 pond raised. A pond is not their wild habitat.

Are they banned from import, or they're only banned from export by Brazil? If they are NOT imported legally, what make you thing there is documentation as proof of importation? :screwy:

They are 100% illegal to export from brazil, period!
No, if's, and's or but's
So that means you can still import wild caught Zebra plecos, as long as not from Brazil :headbang2:headbang2:headbang2

crazy deal if its wild caught. Still a good deal even if it isn't. Zebra plecos are just too good looking but soo expensive!

What makes you think that those people from Ibama can't be bribe? Also, Brazil isn't the only way out, hmmm.. :naughty:

I don't understand some of you guys. It's a simple question of what proof is there? It was asked to prove a point. No documentation means not wild. I have other guys that I know selling wild caught that are 4 years old and come with documentation. That's all. It's not about not being able to get them. I run a business and can't buy stuff that isn't wild and sell F1s from them if they aren't really wild. A little common sense goes a long way. I definately don't doubt AllHappy and it's definately a good price on a great fish for sure if it's really wild.
