Lacerdae hoplias ID?

I know how it got switched..... The guy selling "Green Lacerdae" misinformed Crenicichla44.
This "discrepancy" is pointed out in page 2 of this thread as this pic shows up in post #24 of the show me your wolves sticky.
It's not that badMe too..... Only the "Lacerdae" I got isn't a Lacerdae......
In the past I spend over thousand dollars on a baby fish and a year later confirmed it's just Red Tail Golden that worth like 400~500 at that time.

You're right it's not that bad wolves are fairly cheap compared to Asian Aros, or flat fish (rays), I've been bait and switched on a $2500 pair of Marbled Motoros from Thailand. Ended up with $500 female. But that's not the point, the point is I'll gladly share my experiences so that others don't get the same disappointment I did when they are looking for a certain kind of fish, and buy that fish, and it ends up being something different because of a scientific misunderstanding.
