I said A LOT of those guys are an act.
Honestly I don't follow a lot of the black metal because it sounds like garbled crap to me.
I'm well aware of the guys comitting suicide, and band members lying about eating their brains ect. ect.
Just reinforces my point that most of it's an act. I saw Mayhem in like '01 or '02 and it was a joke, the singer was pretending to cut his throat with a pen knife and the majority of the crowds were little kids...
EDIT: The chick I was with, who couldnt' have weighed more than 110 lbs. was calling the singer a pussy for the entire show, front and center of stage and nobody did anything about it...I just don't know man - I can't understand buying into the idea that being metal is some huge lifestyle you have to live....it's just music.

i lost my concert virginity to lamb of god, with chimaira all that reamins and unearth
awsome show but i dont like the sacramet cd all the other stuff prior is great like burn the priest, new american gospel as the palases burn and ashes of the wake.
i hate peopel that are closed minded with rock and metal ecept emo god the only emo i can stand is some in hardcore.
ive seen mudvayne sevendust, nile, hypocrisy, still remains(2x), the black dalia murder(2x) cellador(2x) breaking benjamin, seether you can tell i like diversity thats only a small list to who ive seen
i am going to inflames and job for a cowboy here in a couple weeks same with sevendust again
then in june im seeing hatebreed, and im also going to mindless self indulgence

I can't stand Linkin Park...they're like the New Kids On The Block of metal/rock for me...too bad the 8 year old is in love with them so I'm forced to listen to "Dig it out, dig it dig it and then throw it away" 24/7...ugh, drives me nuts some times
