large red oscar rescue.

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
lol, seems really mellow this evening... aro done a few threat passes but no action, the o's done the typical mouth wide open farce that they do haha... im sure its blaze the 6 inch midas, he has a real nasty streak even faces off yoyo whos 14-15 inch hence him having ripped fins atm lol.

well he looked to be healing up today then all hell broke loose, the aro started relentlessly attacking and the midas joined in on the action... now he is divided off, anyone think its worth another shot after a week or two of watching through the divider?

pretty gutted if im honest, even have a buyer for the white midas so give him and the aro the tank with the cats....

Moved the arowana on to a better home in a friends tropical pond and kept the oscar, still not feeding very well but takes a few pellets every few days, defo not got a typical oscar appetite yet.

Thanks pal, he just looked so miserable and knew I could give it one of the best chances. Any way of telling an oscars age? Im thinking over 4yrs at 13+ inch?
The midas leave him alone mostly now so I think we are all good for the moment!-)

Lol I have no scientific method to think of, but at 13+ along with his gnarly look, I'd say your guess is a good one

Update, waterchange scrape but doing well!-)
