Hi...Very nice set up!!!!!!! I know it takes a long time to make a fish room
but at the end it's worth it...
It has been almost three years for me and mine is not as big as yours..
I have a question about your pump motors.....
First of all I will give you my experience..
I have a filter that is very similar to yours(Advantage Plus).
I ordered a 1/3 horse power motor for my filter with 2 inch ports(in/out).
After my plumbing was installed I thought I better do an accurate
measurement on head pressure...after studying this for an entire weekend
I realized that my pump was too small. (even thou my tank is only 5 ft
above my motor, the problem was all the fittings I used and the distance
from my tank to the motor).
I phone artisian pro manufacturer and he agreed with me that the pump
would not be able to overcome the head pressure.
Luckily the pump was still in the box and I sent it back and got
a 1/2 horse power pump with high flow.
This new pump is good for 43ft of head and 7000 gal an hour at 3 head.
I have a flow meter in my plumbing set up and when I started it
It ran at 3600gal per hour at 35ft head.
So as you can see the flow rate was greatly reduced due to my piping,height,distance and fittings.
I'm sure you done your homework but bigger is better.....cheers...
but at the end it's worth it...

Our pumps have 1 1/2" ports. We're running a Hammerhead for mechanical filtration on our 300 gallon tank. Pipes are necked down to 1" pipes. Top of the 300 gl is 4' from the floor. This is the flow through the smaller 1" pipes:

On the big build, the top of the tank is 6' from the floor. We're going with 1 1/2" PVC to get the full benefit of the Hammerheads. The Barracuda Golds (4680 gph @ 0') will run the Ultima 4000s. Each will have a 120W UV sterilizer connected to the return line (flow rates for the Ultima 4000 and the Lifegard Aquatics 120W UV sterilizer are compatible) One of the Barracudas will be drawing from the holding sump and returning to the main tank, while the other will draw from the main tank. (I was only able to get 11 additional holes drilled in the top of the tank, and 8 of the holes are for my mechanical filtration.) The Tarpon will be drawing water from the sump via the Clarity CL-3, and returning the water to the sump. With four good sized pumps spitting water back into the tank through 1 1/2" pipe, I anticipate a very good current in the tank. There will be valves at both ends, so we can always tone things down if it's needed, but I don't believe we can get the water too turbulent for our pacu. In the highly unlikely event that the flow is not to our liking, we have the option of raising the filters and pumps off the floor.
My experience with our Hammerhead pump has been so positive, I can't consider any other pump but Reeflos. 4 1/2 years ago, I bought a second Hammerhead, in case the first failed. It is still in its box. We'll use the Hammerhead running on the 300 gallon tank as our back up pump.

Yeah I had one on my RTC/Pacu pond .....
It worked so well I think it ended up in a rubbish skip.
I've seen them working great on koi ponds and trout races but in the soft water needed for Amazonian fish .... they just don't work.
