The 4 biggest Cichlids monster fish hobbyistes regularly keep (that can grow over 20") are the Emporer (Boulengerochromis microlepis), the Peacock bass (any of the species), the Wolf (Herichthys dovii) and the Umbie (Herichthys umbriferum). These fish truly belong on the MFK website.
Many of you are serious hobbyists who joined this website to learn about monster fish and exchange information. I am sure you get tired of some people who sadly offer nothing by their replies of 1 or 2 words or inside jokes with their friends. With apparently the only reason for replying is to add to their post total.
Also please lets have ONLY MFK members reply.
I would like to know the size of the biggest fish in each category kept by a MFK member. I see so many posts listing sizes people have heard of. Lets find out what MFK members actually HAVE.
Lets go total length tip to tip instead of standard length.

@1. Presently alive and owned by a MFK member (a) what is your biggest of any of these species (any of the 4 listed above). Please don't mention other peoples fish you know of or heard about. ONLY FISH OWNED BY YOU and alive in one of your tanks right now. What size was it when you acquired it? How long have you owned it? What size tank is it in right now?
@2. Previously owned by a MFK member (a) what is your biggest of any of these species that you owned and the maximum size it reached before you sold it or it died in your tank (any of the 4 listed above). Please don't mention other peoples fish you know of or heard about. ONLY FISH OWNED BY YOU at one time. What happened to it? What size was it when you acquired it? How long did you own it? What size tank was it of yours last?
If you have a picture of a large one please post it.
