ya, i just cut the wire at the end of the length i needed. then taped up the ends so they werent exposed.

do ya think 4 of these would light up a 30" tall, 240 gal tank? way easier than wiring them up just wire up some incandescent fixtures.

I have heard over and over that fish do not see red light as light. It is still dark to them so I am going to get some and try it on my shovel nose and black ghost. I will let youknow how it works. Bet it will look awesome with all black sand.

That's what I went with. I tried the nocturnal blue first but didnt care for it. So i picked up the moon white and it's exactly what I was looking for. I Think I have a pic at home of both lights in the tank at the same time (I'm at work ATM). I'll look for it and post it up. I got the lights at my LFS so i was able to exchange the blue for another white. And my Pangasius that only comes out when I turned off the lights comes out with these on so I get to watch him. I've been taking pics of the tank lately so i'll try to get them sized down and get them online.
