Thanks!!

I tryed to hook up some car neons to an ac adapter and they did not work. The only thing I could think of is the neon had silver wire and the adapter had the copper wire. But I don't think that makes a diffence. Can anybody help me?

make sure that the negative side of the AC adapter is attached to the negatve side of the neon. Generally the wire with the "Strpe" on it is the negative side. What is the voltage of your AC adapter? it should say right on it. the color of wire wont matter, its just that one is aluminum and the other is copper. That wont hurt the conduction.

I have tryed the wires on both sides so I know I have gotten a neg. to neg. pos. to pos. connection at least one of the times. And on the adapter it says input: AC~120v
Output: DC~3v?

your voltage from the AC adapter is DC (direct current) 3 Volts.
because it is an automotive neon you need a 12 volt adapter.

Look for one that has 12vdc output

Ok thank you I have one right here so I will try that later on. Thanks
