I just want to show some of the plant growth that has occurred, since relocation of my tank in July. I had only a few sprigs of Glossostigma left in the tank after it was moved. My tank is a 225 gal w/ internal overflows, pressurized CO2 injection, and lighted by white HP LEDs exclusively. I plan to add many more plants in the near future, as soon as I can settle on a layout. From what I have seen so far, LED's should be able to support any "High light plants" that I may choose to add.:D

Check out the before and after pics.

that's one hell of a carpet!

Thanks for taking a look everybody. I think that I'll pull the Java fern out for a while and let the Glossostigma fill in. I've always wanted to grow this stuff like "wall to wall carpeting".

On another note: Glossostigma makes a great place for young fry to hide, as I recently discovered baby panda corys' and baby gold tetras' hiding among the leaves.

wow :nilly::nilly::nilly: i am envious

That is amazing! I didn't think LEDs could support plant growth like that. Thanks for sharing, because I have been wanting to to a planted/LED.

Can you share more details about the LED fixture? pics? Is this a DIY unit or one that you bought?
