Thank you, I'd say between 5-6" but just a rough guess , I'd pull out the tape measure but the light is now off , do your fish act like they've seen a great white shark when they notice a tape measure ?
Yes I read they are better in groups and always intended on buying a couple more when I seen some of similar size and type , there are so many variations, I think mine is more altifron from research , but in all honesty she/he gets on perfectly fine as she/he is and has teamed up with my blood parrot often displaying qhat looks like breeding behaviour between them.
Bought as Geophagus Brasiliensis fry, but probably Geophagus sp. 'Bahia Red.'
We have Red Head Tapajos, Threadfin Acara and one iffy fish loosely identified as an Altifrons.
