That's right: if you value buying slightly cheaper stuff over the mistreatment of animals, then by all means do not support this.
well hell, why dont we all stop keeping fish, i mean what makes it right for any of us to keep fish in a glass box for our own enjoyment? what makes your ideals of right/wrong better than others?

YOU want to fight "the man", YOU stop shopping there. which i have assumed you already did, that is unless you keep going in there to see if anything has changed along your crusade.

why just walmart... why not petco or petsmart as well.... fish die everyday owell people choose not to educate themselves its not our problem... im not crying a river over some retarded pacu or oscars in walmarts tanks being sentenced to death.. i cant change it or stop it... i do live on a budget as with most of this world and can buy some good stuff at walmart for a good price.. why not petition for all the people who are homeless or healthcare or i dont know something important... not some stupid walmart fish... same fish get sold in regular LFS stores every day the same way... same goes for the other corperate stores...

As I said, if you value buying slightly cheaper stuff at Wal-Mart over the mistreatment of animals, by all means do not support this.

I stopped shopping at Wal-Mart - altogether - a couple of years ago for, among other reasons, this issue. Maybe I pay a little bit more, but I know that I'm not supporting the mistreatment of fish (which is important to me).

look around you. the economy is in the dumps. you think people give a crap about the mistreatment of goldfish at walmart? nope. i think most are more concerned about staying employed and being able to provide for their families.

i think its safe to say that this issue is VERY low on list of people's priorities

then you should stop going to Petco, Petsmart

You should stop buying meat

You should stop buying soccer balls made in India

You should stop eating KFC

the list goes on and on.

My bet is you support hundreds of horrible things you dont even know about.
And even if you did, i doubt you would boycott everything you found because sooner or later, you would end up having to live in a shed in the mountains while you talk to your invisable friend Wally.

Just because we shop at Wal-Fart doesnt mean we endorse the poor practices of FISHKEEPING they have.
Give me a friggin break. :screwy:
It means we are living pay check to pay check and need to find inexpensive clothes etc.

YOU sir need to :chillpill:

Vote's currently 22 to 1...
that's because your poll is biased. thats why i didnt vote. there nothing in there that says "No, i dont approve of wal-mart's practices but im not gonna stop shopping there because im poor!!!"

guess that wasnt one of your choices since we all dont think like you

+ 400 million

Your poll is flawed, which is why I also did NOT vote.
