Lexus has the agenda. I am merely discussing the terrible results of the out of control "Project".

1. I used Lexus to give a concrete example of the issue that I stated in the opener. The reason is, Lexus is establishing legal precedents & scaring Counties and States away from even being able do their already appointed job in Animal Control cases (monetarily and also with humane treatment of already-traumatized victim families.
ie; the Nevada family would've been forced to testify & re-live the events in court. the judge stated this as part of reason for "settling".
In the AZ case: the County can not afford to fight this mess).
Someone asked in the other thread about the Az case, if there is going to be a Supreme court for canines? Well, in the Nev case a news headline read "Nevada Supreme Court sends Onion the dog case back to lower court"
SO:
2. Cases of severe dog maulings with severe human injuries and even deaths will keep happening, and we need to realize that all The Rules Are Changing !
3. Owners Sign & "surrender" dog to County Control for euthanasia. (Owners have always had rights to euthanize our dogs, right?)
4. The dogs' actions meet criteria in existing local laws for "Vicious" behavior. Therefore, BOTH the owners AND local officials set dog for euthanasia. What could go wrong? Just when you think the nightmare may start fading a little bit..
5. INTERFERENCE by Litigation. Lexus stops the process.
6. And this really kills me: Vicious and/or Killer dogs are court-ordered to be physically moved out of the area where offense occurred (often, different states.) Sometimes the exact location of dog is not known.

Is it right to relocate these offending dogs at all? I think not. Even human criminals' cases are handled within certain jurisdictions.
If a dog kills a child in Caif or Nev, should he get a death sentence reprieve and get "paroled" way out in Ohio?
Do you want him that dog in your area?
There's no Megans' List for dogs. just sayin.........

"agenda" isn't inherently political IN FACT ...IT'S cart before the horse thing....politics inherently have agenda(s)..
agenda doesn't have to be about politics but almost every thread has an agenda ,it kinda rings as a false protest ...sorry....your agenda is clearly to complain about the nexus project..pretty simple and NOT an implied evil unless you've been trained that it's a bad word...EDIT: AGENDA(from the websters dictionary)...a list of things to be considered or done...2.a plan or goal that guides someones behavior and is often kept secret.......that's it...... so where is my" political" agenda?..there isnt one just a statement of fact ...as described by the dictionary ... btw for the most part ..I agree with you

I just completely explained THE ISSUE that bothers me.
Lexus does other things which I don't give a crap about, as those don't potentially effect me;
those don't remove my right to make decisions as a dog owner;
don't also undermine OTHER State & Counties jurisdiction over deadly animals (outside NY, where Lexus is);
those don't move [the same degree of] dangerous animal around the country to live amidst unsuspecting residents.
These are the issues at-hand.

Some of their other types of cases, although IMO unjust pursuits, are not part of this point. For instance, saving/moving/concealing dogs with proven & repeated kills/mauling of other animals & pets.

i'm just sayin ...learn the meaning of the word before scolding me about it's use ..we'll get along just fine........ I am not particularly interested in what parts of the nexus project you like or dislike ..look up the definition of the WORD AGENDA before you are critical of others for it's use
