Man, I can pick up baby gators at Hamburg for like $50 bucks. What a rip off!

in 2003 i went to the daytona reptile show and saw alot of cool herps including a nile crocodile someone bought it from out west. some of the most strangest herps i saw was some albino softshell turtles they even had one section of the expo devoted to venomous but i didnt go to that part lol. it was the first and only herp show i have been too. i have not been to one in a long time i need to go to one .

I have not been to one in a good while either.Last time though a buddy was with me and he waited til after we left and were on the road to get around to mentioning that he saw someone there with a coconut crab.I wanted to choke him.

I paid $100 retail for the one that I used to have.

IMO, crocodilians certainly aren't for everyone, so hopefully those little ones go to the right people.

Have often though of raising one of these guys, then passing him on to a gator farm we have here in Colorado.

Have often though of raising one of these guys, then passing him on to a gator farm we have here in Colorado.

They might even have a program at that farm that lets you trade your alligator that's gotten too big for a smaller one; I know of some farms that do that.
