Yeah they have around 400 gators, with about half of them being previously raised as family pets. They have bread some of their gators but not sure about the trade progam.

Those babies are cool. When I want to see gators I just go out back of the house to my neighbors property. He has a couple of farm ponds with gators. Here's Ruby. She was a rescue at 3ft when she was captured near a swimming area of a local lake. Now she's 9ft+.



If you show up at her pond with a grocery bag, she'll come right up the 30ft embankment to get her treats of chicken parts or catfish.

I read about it somewhere that a few farms in the South that do that; I knew about the alligator snapper trade-in program, too, though.

Man, I can pick up baby gators at Hamburg for like $50 bucks. What a rip off!

Ikr?? Iv seen them even cheaper than that.

IMO, crocodilians certainly aren't for everyone, so hopefully those little ones go to the right people.

They sure arnt but they are a blast to own
