For real, I thought SoCal. would be more. This is for a 2200sq.ft. 3 bedroom, 2 bath. The closer you get to the city here, the more money you spend!! I hate living in the city, the water bill is out of this world!!!

I bought a 6"-7"Arowana at the lfs I go too most of the time about a week ago and paid 50 bones for it. I got it becuase I have seen any arround here for about three month's and I have been wanting one for quite sometime now so I jumped on it.... well I went in there today and they had one for 24.99 the same size as the one I got...WTF is up with that sh**
I should of said something about it but I didn't. just thought I would vent that

If you do business with that store all the time you should say something. Atleast get a store credit for getting hosed on the fish. My Lfs has silvers about 5"-7" for like $15.99. I think i am going to get one and a ck in about a month or so and put them in a grow out tank. Gotta get my 150 up and running first though.

HA thast nothin my LFS wanted 125 for a silver that was only about 18 inches long and was older than dirt itself, it had been there for alomst a year I'd say, finally someone bought all 4, to bad to I had a nice 10 gallon at home for them to LOL J/K

i rented an apartment before (a year ago) for only 1,150 2bed/2bath around 1000 sq.ft. but i only pay for electricity. everything is covered. but it's a lot smaller.

silver aro goes for 20 or 25 around my area. if i were you i would have asked maybe they made a mistake on their price. some lfs won't even put price... they would just give you a well bloated price and hoping you'll grab on it.

An lfs near me in the Chicago area had a 7" one for $99. Mono pbass generally go for like $25 at 2" around here. Down at school in Champaign stuff's a little cheaper $12-20 3" aros, $10 2" pbass. Still pretty expensive compared to some of the prices I see on here though.

$1,800 for that is unheard of here. my friend pays $1,400 for one bedroom and 1 bath.
