Lima Shovelnose growth rate??

Hey guys I recently got a Lima Shovelnose catfish...What’s the growth rate on these guys?

As fast as a tsn or not?
He doesn’t like shrimp...But loves these sinking Hikari pellets

If it's elongatus which maxes at a foot. It grows slow. If it's a true Lima, can't say we know, they're so rare or rarely reported

Much slower than a red tail , not real fast growers at all

Agree with the above.

That's a bit strange for LSN to prefer dry feed.

Elongatus in general will get to 6"-7" in the first year and much slower from there.

Lima, as stated, we appear to not know because of their great scarcity.
