Intelligence is not something I claim.
However, it does lower my game.
If I'd just finished school,
Then we'd be cool,
Seems my mum was right again!
 
Victory is not what I'm after.
But rather, I'm seeking your laughter.
Your mom might be right.
For you'll be up all night,
If you keep jousting with this word grafter.
 
It seems we are hogging this thread.
Should give others a chance instead?
Unless they can't cope,
And we're making them mope,
Because their to slow in the head...
 
Our comebacks are fast in succession.
Maybe to the point of obsession.
If they see our words,
They can't be too obsurd.
And they might learn a comical lesson.

Your wording my friend, is slick.
But I'm not done yet,
You'll see this, I bet,
But at least I don't sound like a d!#%. :P

Indeed a p~~sy I'm not,
Though I may have lost the plot.
It takes ages for me,
To come up with these,
I can't think of them on the spot. :(
 
When you're marking your rhythm & rhyme,
It works better when taking your time.
But like you had said,
You had best get to bed,
Instead of staying here racking your mind.:)
 
A battle of wits I'm not into,
Especially with ones like a Shrew.
I've learned long ago,
and tossed words to and fro,
just to be left disrespected and blue.
 
I would but its daytime down here,
I'll tell you this, but never fear.
If I go to bed now,
Then I don't know how,
I'll sleep when bed time is near..
