hahaha this is funny.
They are many young people on this forum who know their stuff and chances are when they reach the age of 50 and are still in the hobby(maybe off and on) but they will know a lot more than the adults today will know. See the thing is...now I'm not saying this for everyone but it seems the average age the a fish keeper here where I live is between 27-42 years old. You can ask those people and most will state that they did not start fish keeping when they were 12 or something b/c way back in the "day" fish keeping was not a big thing...it really has grown this hobby over the last 20years. So to the adults keeping fish today who says you would not be like the little kids on the forum right now if you just joined this hobby and wanted to keep a cool big fish? Like I said before there are many young people on this site with lots of experience in the aqauroum hobby. For example I'm 16 and I work at the pet store in the fish section...you would not believe the amount of people my age that has come into to buy a fish just so they could own a fish without and advice what so ever...someone came in around 15 and wanted to buy an angel fish just to stick it in the freezer so they could see what it would look like if it was frozen(we had angels on sale that week, so I guess it was cheap enough to be frozen, lol) all in all that kid did not go home with that fish. I feel like I have lots of good knowledge about this hobby...some ways some people may think it's wrong but I only learnt from other people..not the internet. I don't think though you should flame someone who just got into fish keeping and has given some bad advice...most likely it will be a fad for them anyways so no need to get worked up. They will learn and if the fish are ill taken care of let that be there own problem. If they don't want to hear your opinion then just LEAVE IT and don't cause more trouble...leave their dumb as* little foolish ways alone. Your time could be better spent on somone who really needs help....just drop it.
