yes it does especially if u feed them twice a day once when u wake up and once b4 u go to bed
o did my trick work do u hang out infront of ur tank so now he comes out? cuz my fish greet me when i come in i got 2 jags 3-4" 1 bigger than the other and owns half the tank 1 oscar(hes shy) and a firemouth that loves me. but just wonderin if hangin out infront of ur tank worked?

Yea it starting to become less shy but still a little shy so i think ur trick is working.

Yeah when they are young they are on the skiddish side. But I have one about 4 in and seems to do fine with my big boys. I got lucky. he swims around and trys to hang.

i have 3 that are all under 2" and a jd in my 20 gal grow out, they are friggin mean period. i come up to the tank and they all cluster up and greet me. thats why sa and ca are so much better than african. there alot more personable. you got a good lookin baby there.
