Nice pickup Serg. PM me prices info for those del you got from All Happy. Your tank is going to look like CYBR except all delhezi. Man you're going nuts with those delhezis. How many delhezis do you have now? I keep hearing you're cutting back on delhezis but at the same time I keep seeing you posting new threads of your dels. This sounds like something I would do!

You do need a place to put a 120 gallon tank to begin with but you should be able to afford nice bichirs if you cut back on other hobbies. This is considering you have a job.

My isn't all that but if there is a will there is a way. You're ABSOLUTELY right! I'm glad to have fish friends like you, Julian, XC, and a few others on MFK.

He wish he was a baller j/k cuz he ain't baller like his dad. His dad is a major baller. The worse feeling is seeing somebody walking out of the LFS with fish you want. Thank goodness I have never personally experience that or I might have to stalk them on their way home for their bag of fish.

The price was in their sale thread, $30 a pop for small size. They have one runt left, Ben didn't see it, Neil passed and got an ansorgii, Mark didn't want such a small one.... come on man someones gonna be lucky that so many people passed on a nice del! lol all it needs is time and good care and it'll grow quick.


Where have you heard that i'm cutting back on dels? maybe you heard wrong and it was 'I'm cutting back for dels' I dunno lol most people that know me, know I'm trying to breed them not sell them. I need to sell most of my other fish so they don't eat the del eggs when they do decide to spawn.

Actually, having a CYBR status tank but with delhezi would be awesome! Right now I got 15, but my goal is 21 delz and I'm done.

WCs are so much nicer than CBs

that's my opinion anyways, I prefer striped delz rather than spotted or patternless. The body shape is nicer IMO too.

what is machines diet plan?

It's sort of like power feeding, but a refined version and it's a lot better for the fish and their water quality.

He recommends feeding 3 small feedings a day, and skipping a couple feedings every other day. This gives the bichirs time to digest their food well.

Combine that with frequent water changes, and the result is thick healthy bichirs, that grow fast.

Also part of it is to feed plenty of silversides. I've been feeding these dels silversides, shrimp, tilapia, and beefheart. I feed a different food item each feeding.

Soon I'll add massivore into their menu as well.
