I'll bet that chart is for a temporay container, I cant see 600 1 1/2" fish surving long in a 30 gallon tank. Better have a good bio filter.
I was thinking about putting mine in a 100 gallon rubermaid container in my garage.

BINGO...exactly my thoughts.

I guess you are right... but at a average of $4 a dozen...a 100 bucks would only get you like say 20 dozen with tax. I am going to order a batch next week of these and try it. I may just add them to my outdoor pool pond instead hmmmm...it would be cool to see. Maybe they will establish in there before I put the monsters in....

What?! One, your baits shops are way over priced at $4 a dozen! Two, I mean a bait distributor! Cut out the middle man! I pay around $3 a pound from a distributor here in town! I get about 50 small fatheads per pound...

Also, if you have never kept fatheads before, I suggest you try a few first and then go big... especially if you are in a warmer climate... they just don't do well if they are over 70 degrees. I am in WI and I have to keep them in my basement with no heater and I still lose 'em... they are really finicky... IMO
