It looked good and was leaning on making an order until I realized after reading your numbers that it's cheaper at a local petsmart at 12 cents each versus 13.5 delivered to my door. One advantage I see with ordering direct from the farms is you have more conrtrol about the health of the feeders. Assuming you are willing to deal with feeder deaths before feeding time.
I think I'll stick to the local LFS and frozen feeders and try breeding and raising gambusia in those 30 gallon tanks you traded.
The 2000 feeders per box looks very reasonable though if you can keep them alive.
that's a pretty good price, I pay 5.00 for 100, so your looking at 75.00 at my LFS for 1500. But they don't carry 1500 so I say go for it, I recommend buying a minnow chiller to keep the water cool.
Anyone still use these guys? My bass are on pellets but the growth rate is dismal and they don’t really like them. I’d like to get them on frozen fish and I’m thinking the best way to do that is start with live.
