Lizardfish???

I've been kicking myself ever since I got rid of mine.....any chance of getting some in soon???

when i was in hawaii i was fishing off a pier and caught what the locals call a "lizard fish." i looked kinda like that but the teeth on it were crazy long and sharp! i was scared to take that sucker off the hook! saltwater fish though. sorry about the tangent.

Yeah...they're also known as sand divers....the one's I'm talking about get really big and are super food aggressive....Wes had one that was easily 2 feet, but the BB grouper ate it.

When I got it from Wes, it was about 4" long. I figured since the fish is slender, it wouldn't be a big eater....WRONG!!! The thing grew about 2.5" in the first 6 weeks!!! It slightly buries itelf in the gravel, and explodes out when feeders or shrimp are put in. It's crazy how fast they move, and just how much they eat.

It was about 9" long when I began to worry it would eat everything in the tank, so I sold it to a friend. He thought it would be ok with his B.Bagarius.....needless to say we are now both looking for replacements.
