OMG Ash I love yours too!! You guys all suck for being amazing artists - But hey, ever have a stick figure mural you need done - yup, I'm yo chick!! LOL
But seiously you guys have put so much work into all of these, each and every one, and I cannot express my gratitude enough for that!! I always wanted to make sure that Ocean's Advocate NEVER got the "BigWig" status where we were disconnected from the public like some other organizations I know *cough* Greenpeace *cough*
It has always been important to me to make sure any and all of our Board members, crew members, and team members could be reached personally by anyone at anytime, anywhere in the world, not filtered through some automated response system, or no name opperator. The communities, world wide - the people, are who make change happen, who support us and make it possible for us to do what we are doing; and therefore, making sure that the people always know they can get involved, make a change, support a cause, and stay connected with us personally is one of my top priorities.
I am thrilled at how many of you got involved in this project and I want you to know that none of your efforts will be overlooked, that each and every design we have received will eventually be used in some way or another, whether in part or in whole. And I encourage you to keep posting ideas as they come to you, as we will always be looking for ideas for merchandise, specific campaign logos, and so much more.
Some of the campaigns we are in the process of planning are going to be in various locations around the world, dealing with a number of species, and it is our intention to have exclusive shirts, patches, and other products specifically designed for these campains, so the possibilities are endless, and the designing will never be done!! LOL
At this point in time, I think we are going to see where we can take Melissa's design, and from there create the official Ocean's Advocate International Logo.
--BUT-- I want everyone to know that while we may have chosen this logo as the international one, we are still in desperate need of:
- Specific Species Logo's for our main webpage categories and campaigns, which will include
*Sharks
*Whales
*Sea Turtles
*Big Game Fish
*Seals/Sea Lions/Sea Otters
*Dolphins
- Iron-on Patch Design for our Galapagos Shark Campaign 2009 as well as a T-Shirt Design for such
- T-Shirt Design for general promotions (see where I posted the other T-shirt for ideas)
- "Window sticky" Bumper stickers
