This is not a money making venture. If you haven't been paying attention, this is a NON profit organization. Everyone's participation is strictly voluntary, and they know going into it that monetary compensation will not be given. This was stated in the first post - had you cared to read it.
If you want to be paid for your contributions, contact an art gallery. If you want to be a part of change, and have the opportunity to have your art internationally known, and go towards a good cause and huge movement, then stay, and show us what you got.
Each and every artist that contributes to this thread, no matter if their art is chosen or not, will receive limited edition Ocean's Advocate Stickers and T-Shirts, along with a few other things I have up my sleeve right now which will be announced at a later date.
Additionally, for every artist, who's work IS chosen to be used for Ocean's Advocate, there is going to be an artist's gallery on our main website which is going to highlight each contributing artist who's work was chosen, as well as give them the opportunity to showcase more of their aquatic related art which they can actually sell straight from our site, keeping 90% of the profit, paying $0.00 to show their art, and only 10% of the profit going back into Ocean's Advocate.
There is definitely money to be made by having your art chosen, there is also "fame" to be gained. But for us, who are dedicated to this cause, and the issues surrounding our mission.... that's not the priority here. Thanks.
