Look wat i got

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
ur tank looks good and i dont know anything about sumps and my tank is not predrilled for sump and doesnt have overflows im gonna stick to the 2 ac110s and fx5 for now and if anything i will make a sump in the future and im sure it could fit in the stand
and about the gravel i am gonna probly get 100lbs of black gravel and see how it looks cuz i wanna have a nice layer of gravel on the bottom so it could look really nice.
i might start actually setting the tank up in a week or so depending on when i finish covering the stand with plywood and staining it

hey man this thread is an awesome guide for what to think about when setting up a tank as big as yours!
i like your stand design man, hopefully all goes well in the process!

and so far so good i got some high quality plywood from my neighbor cuz hes a contractor so once i finish putting on the stand and staining it a nice dark cherry color i will start setting the tank up and getting the gravel and start cycling it. to aid in cycling should i take some of the gravel that i have in my tank that im growing out the fish for the 210 and would it be a good idea if i didnt fill the tank all the way up and each time i do a water change add some of the water from that tank into the 210? and i have one of the ac110s curently running on my 29gal

I was told all I had to do was take the HOB off my current tank to make the new tank safe for fish. Just make sure you have at least one cycled filter still on the old tank.

200lbs of gravel should be nice. My 240g tank has about 180lbs of gravel and it covers the tank well...at least it did then the cichlids came and dug it all up.
