so far i got almost every thing i need all that left is fx5, gravel wich im picking up 2marro, finish the stand. i finally got some nice high quality 3/8th plywood to cover the stand so far i got the front and top and bottom covered with the ply wood still gotta cover the sides and think of a way to make the doors on the front heres a few pics
When you do the doors, just go buy the premade cabinet doors from the hardware store. You wold be better off to buy them. If you are going to go for a more contemporary look, then just cut the doors out of 3/4" plywood. I have built a few stands, all of which are posted on this site in the DIY section. You want the doors to overlap the edges by about 1/2-3/4". Make sure there is something behind the paneling you used to cover the stand. (i.e. a 2x4) This will give you something to attach a hinge to. Let me know if you need any other advise for building the stand. I can post pics.
finally got the fx5
paid 328 for the fx5 with fine filter pad 3pk, waterpolishing pad 3pk, biomax, prefilter stuff, amonia remal stuff.
i have the water polishing pad and bio max in the first tray, fine filter pad and the prefilter stuff2nd tray, and the 3rd tray fine filterpad and the amonia remover stuff now all i gotta do is finish the stand then start setting up the 210

they had fx5s on ebay for 150 few with everything...if i had to do a 120g i have al over again i would just make a wet/dry for that one too.. fraction of the cost and more sufficient.

thanks and yeah i know they have it on ebay but i dont have ebay account or paypal and dont feel like setting it up and also if anything ever goes bad with it i could just go back to that lfs and get a new one and i think once im done with the 210 i think its time to do a lil work on the a4 such as k04 turbo, fmic, ecu and RS4 bodykit
thanks hopefully i will finish covering the stand 2marro and then start staining it so i could finally setup the tank during the week
