We don't usually leave mice in with our snakes more than 2 hours...a lot of the ball pythons kill their mice then just guard them - don't ask me why.

Weird little guys, unfortunately when we get large numbers (we just recently had over 30 in the shop) a good amount of them die off due to starvation.

Are you getting wc or cb ball pythons. The place I worked at we may have lost 1 out of 25 cb. I know the wild caughts can be a pain.

Hi,yes I think thats the best solution, feeding snakes with thawed mice or other foods has more pros than cons.I feed my ball this way.

hey, yea he is fed with thawed mice...not brave enough to do live mice...hes too beautiful to be mauled by something 1/10 of his size lol.

cheers jamie, yea i think i did see.
im looking at getting another male but make it a spider then get about 2 maybe 3 females and breed.

watch this space...he is my first lol so maybe i should get used to him lol

right now i have 1 male one female , when they breed i should get all spider.. then if i breed my male with a female pastel i can get bumble bees :)

mine eat live...1x a week. i watch and wait for them to eat and then put them back in the tank.usually only takes baout 4 mins.

id love a bumble bee...but soooo expensive lol.

well as hes only been home a week im not fussed about him missing a feed. hes still getting used to his surroundings etc.
but his heat mat doesnt seem to be heating the full area its placed.

Not sure - I'm guessing wild caught based on the price we get em' at (around 10 bucks a peice). Either way reptiles aren't my specialty in the shop, and I only get stuck caring for them because others are too lazy to do their job.
