Hi I'm relatively new to the hobby and was wondering if I can get any fish reccomendations. I am looking for a predatory fish that is an active swimmer and semi large (somewhere around the range of 10-20 in). And I don't want an Oscar, thanks for the help!

Maybe...yellow tail cudas, odoe pike, pike cichlids, and upper jaw polypterus? Not all at the same time.

Red Tail Cuda get to around 10-12 inches, or Hujeta Gar get to 9 inches-but they are piscivores.

Thanks, I was originally thinking about a wolf fish either red or black but I have heard they aren't active swimmers. If they have adequate space would they swim?

Wait your relatively new? Perhaps that fish wont work for you. Instead of a preadator, why not a school of Silver Dollars, they are not predatory but active swimmers.

Hmm I might try that out in my 150 before I finish my 350. Thanks
