looking for an interesting oddball fish

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
pretty sure male female they I see them together quite a bit so plus there is a size difference the newer one is like double the size
the new one is definitely less skittish

Butterfly fish are funny like that. I can tell my 5 butterflies apart because of how they act. 2 of the males are very skittish and hide a lot, while the "alpha" male loves to parade around the tank (and the ladies). The 2 females are easy to tell apart, since one of them has a cloudy eye.
It's funny how much personality a little fish can have!
Oh, and I tried hand feeding my polys some shrimp the other day! One of them actually came up and took a piece from my fingers!:headbang2

ha poly's will eat about anything
two of my knives swim around my hand now when I fix stuff in my tank
my brown and my african black do now
and I realized.... theres no way I can get the leapord ct.

ha I think I'm overstocked already
and by I think I'm overstocked
I mean I am

three rope fish
2 giant danios
1 poly senegal
2 serpa tetra
1 glo light tetra
2 rosy barbs
1 blood parrot
3 german blue rams
1 yellow barb (not sure what type
1 CAE
1 pleco
1 whiptail cat
1 african black knife
1 ghost knife
and one brown knife
and two african butterfly fish
and two 60 g filters ha

what do you think..
I'm about positive I'm overstocked as it is already
o I go for the leapord ct.

I think your tank has enough fish in it.
Although, if you have an extra tank, I would suggest putting the rams, barbs, and tetras in there and getting a few more of each tetra.
As your fish get bigger, you might need to consider getting rid of the pleco. They produce a lot of waste and I'm not sure you gonna want the extra bioload... unless you plan on upgrading;)
Sounds like your doing good though.
