why the hell can't I catch a break here. I can keep 50+ fish alive in this ****ing house but I can't keep one spieces alive . As most of you know I lost my last aro to a swim bladder problem and today my new aro that had grown about 3" in a month and was looking great jumped out of the only hole in my hood where I was just getting ready to put a filter in this week. Damn it why are these fish so hard to keep? this sucks this fish was far more promising than the last too. sorry about venting but you guys are my only salvation..

It happens. Ive lost 2 blacks in succesion until my 3rd one. About the tiny cracks and crevices.. Duct Tape works wonders. Trust me, 3rd times the charm

Sorry to hear about yuor loss, if it makes you feel any better Im on my second aro after my first jumped through a tiny hole and then got eaten by my cat. Probably the most expensive dinner she will ever have!

To avoid another expensive lesson, when your aro grows big enuf, dont forget to put bricks on your hood!

thanks everyone I have kind of calmed down now. It just sucks because they are by far the fish I pay the most attention to and I keep loosing them. I will definatly fill the hole before the next inhabitent.. thanks agsain
