don't give up. no 1 killer of arowanas are them jumping out of their tank. seal any hole that you can find with duct tape or cover it with heavy items.
young arowanas jump out thru small openings or holes that they can find. no hole is small for them.
adult arowanas can knock over anything that you use to cover your tank. so make sure it's heavy enuff to prevent them from knocking it over and jumping out.
