I do love my big tanks and my big fish, BUT, there is something I have always wanted to do with a minimum 100g tank.

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO :naughty:

I took one of the tanks that I think is very nice, a 100g that a carpenter made that is oak framed and filled er up just now.

Pretty much I reconfigured my back storage area in my restaurant to have a couple of desks so that I could have an office of sorts and I put this tank right beside my old school desk so it will be like my own private idaho.

It will be running fluval 400 , a internal fluval rated for 50g, a 75w submersable titanium fluval heater, and a t5 lightstrip that is meant for SW. I had a bunch of sand that was previously used in a SW setup that I am using for substrate so will have to do a few WC to take out the salinity as right now it is sitting at 1.004

While the stocking may not fit peoples definition of monster. I watched these fish I am going to put in decimate a 7 inch moto stingray I put in with them thinking it would be all good. The ray was fine the night before but within the night they had basically eaten his eyes and shredded the edges of the disk. I was pretty pissed about it, so I took them all and threw them in with my monsters and watched them enjoy about 45 seconds of freedom in the 300g.

Yet, is it not a fish eat fish world. So I can see how these guys would do what they did. They are a monster in their own right. :naughty: So they deserve a monster tank of their own. :headbang2

I will post up the fish when I actually stock the tank, unless someone guesses what is going in the tank.

Only clue I will give is this.

They most definitely did not live up to what is told about them, peaceful they are not. Also they are not cichlids.
