nice hookup, juz keep an eye on the pacu.....some are pussy's, others are devils.....its all up to the fish, mines very timid.....gets chased by my silver all the time
 
congrats on the pickup. silver aros get huge, i would look at going a littel bit bigger than that.

i also have a 12" pacu that i cant let go of, so i guess you guys can start telling me to get rid of it too!
 
hahahaha Well the only prob i have with my pacu is that he eats like a pig LOL
I cant wait to have a bigger tank!
 
i have never fed my aros feeders either and 2 out of 22 have it but those 2 are the only domestic bred ones i have and the 20 others are still babies so we have yet to se if they will get drop eye, several members here keep bright colored foam floats in their tank and they believe that this prvents drop eye but i have never tried this and i wouldnt get rid of the pacu either
