Lung fish Diet

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
It's hard to use a cannister on the floor. I would suggest either a sponge filter or an HOB
I just purchased Boyu EF- 05 canister and also applied small Top filter. Water seem to be pretty clear but he's poop is thick and sticky and top filer is unable to suck it.

AC 110 will be fine... ?

An AC 110 will be great, 2 would be amazing. They have a lot of filtration power and you can just take the strainer off if the poop is sticky

I use a net to remove the poop. It usually floats and a filter can't get it.

Thanks for your suggestion. But needed 1 more.

When I bought him first 2-3 days he popped daily. But now he is not pooping (it's nearly 3-4 days now ).. he eats regularly and is active.. any problem ? More over I also noticed when I feed him alge waffer he do poop after few hours. So I gave him 3 alge waffer but there's nothing in tank.. all clear. Any relation between pooping cycle, since this is first time I am new to habits of lung fish. Can u help.

All of mine only poop once or twice a week.

The frequent pooping in the beginning may have been stress related from adjusting to the new setting or new diet, a couple times a week sounds about right. I don't think its necessary yet, but you can feed frozen peas to get them to go
